STAFF

Our staff are well qualified committed Christians who firmly believe in our aims for the children.  All staff undergo the standard checks required by the Department for Children, Schools and Families.  The school currently employs 22 staff; this includes full time, part time and temporary staff.

Mrs. Julie Cousins

Mrs. Cousins had classical training in Stratford and London.  She studied drama and English literature.  She later went on to work as an actress touring theatres across the country. In Drama AQA guidelines will be followed to G.C.S.E. level.  In English she will follow the curriculum plans for years 7, 8, 9 and to G.C.S.E. level.  As well as teaching she will be a tutor group leader for year 10 and11 and will be your first point of contact.

Charlotte Marks

Charlotte graduated from Newcastle University with a B A (Hons) in Childhood Studies and Guidance and Counselling. She currently teaches Art, Child Development and Psychology in the Secondary Department, although from September 2016, Charlotte will commence her PGCE in Primary Education. She also undertakes one to one work in school and is involved as part of the Pastoral Care Team.

Mrs. Sarah Ellis-Burke

Mrs. Ellis - Burke has a Diploma in Child Care and Education and also a BTEC advanced in Art and Design. She is studying for an Early Years Foundation Degree. Mrs Ellis- Burke plans, teaches and co-ordinates the primary department. She is also a qualified first aider.
